21. Japantag in Düsseldorf

Am 1. Juni 2024 startete wieder der Japantag am Rheinufer in Düsseldorf.

Wir waren auch vor Ort auf der Wiese am Landtag, um zusammen mit dem Hakushinkai Düsseldorf unsere Künste Kyudo und Iaido zu präsentieren. Schon eine Stunde vor dem offiziellen Start der Veranstaltung waren zahlreiche Besucher*innen vor Ort, um sich eine gute Ausgangsposition für die zahlreichen Attraktionen zu sichern. Laut Veranstalter nutzten etwa 630.000 Japaninteressierte aus ganz Deutschland und dem benachbarten Ausland die Gelegenheit, sich auf dem traditionsreichen Begegnungsfest über Japan und die japanische Community in der Landeshauptstadt zu informieren.

Großer Andrang herrschte dann an allen Ständen und Zelten, auch an der Sportbühne, die dieses Jahr auf der Wiese am Landtag ihren Platz gefunden hatte. Das Wetter war zunächst ideal - nicht zu heiß und zu sonnig -, bis zwei heftige Regenschauer gegen 17:00 Uhr unseren Vorführungen ein Ende setzten. Danach war die Wiese einfach zu nass, um noch weiter fortzusetzen. Dennoch waren wir sehr zu zufrieden mit dem Verlauf des Tages. Wir konnten alte Freunde treffen, aber auch vielen neuen Interessierten unsere Kunst näher bringen.

Unseren Mitgliedern, die bei der Gestaltung des Auftritts geholfen haben, aber auch dem Veranstalter "dlive" für seine vorbildliche Organisation - bis hin zu regelmäßigen Updates zur Wetterlage - ein herzliches Dankeschön.
