9. Rheingoldtaikai

Am Sonntag, den 23. April 2023, veranstaltet der Kyudoverein Neandertal den 9. Rheingoldtaikai.

Das Yawatashi - Eröffnungszeremonie - beginnt um 10:30 Uhr in der Sporthalle des Gymnasiums am Neandertal, Heinrichstraße 12, in Alt-Erkrath.

Es geht wieder um die Mega-Nuggets aus dem Rhein. Dieser Freundschaftswettkampf für Mannschaften und Einzelschhützen wurde 2007 ins Leben gerufen. Die Besonderheit ist, dass die Mannschaften auf Ziele in drei unterschiedlichen Größen schießen.

Gleichzeitig möchten wir damit das 20jährige Bestehen des Vereins feiern. Als sich im Herbst 2002 einige Interessierte im Gymnastikraum eines Kindergartens in Erkrath zusammengefunden haben, um ihre ersten Erfahrungen in der Kunst des Japanischen Bogenschießens zu machen, war das erst der Anfang. Kyudo wurde zu einer festen Größe in der Region Düsseldorf. Relativ schnell konnte der Verein Wettkampferfolge für sich verbuchen, es gab Landesmeister, Deutsche Meister und Siege in der Bundesliga. Auch bei internationalen Turnieren war der Verein erfolgreich unterwegs. Bei Graduierungen waren Vereinsmtiglieder ebenfalls aktiv. 2007 legten die ersten Eigenwächse ihre erste Danprüfung in Tokyo ab, inzwischen verfügen elf Vereinsmitglieder über Dan-Grade der ANKF - All Nippon Kyudo Federation, die höchste Graduierung ist der 5. Dan. Es gibt also genug Gründe, um sich zu erinnern und zu feiern.

Interessierte Zuschauer*innen sind herzlich eingeladen. Anmeldungen zur Teilnahme am Taikai sind ab sofort möglich.
