On August 27, we had another birthday celebration on the schedule. The birthday girl got to go first and scored the very first goal, followed by two more “congratulations” in the form of goals.
On May 20, our instructor and club founder, Reinhard Kollotzek, will celebrate his 70th birthday. We extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to him—above all, good health.
Japan Day will take place in Düsseldorf on Saturday, May 21, 2022. The Neandertal Kyudo Club will once again be present on the lawn in front of the state parliament building. From 12:45 p.m.
Now that the large gym is once again fully usable following repairs to the basketball hoops, we were able to immediately honor a birthday boy with a birthday shooting contest.
To wrap up a kyudo year that wasn’t exactly easy, a small Christmas archery contest was held during the last practice session before the Christmas break.
Since no exam seminars could be held in Europe in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, the IKyuF has decided to administer the 1st and 2nd Dan exams this year using digital media.
