7. Rheingold-Taikai

Am Samstag, den 29. April 2017, hatte der Kyudoverein Neandertal wieder zu seinem Freundschaftsturnier in die Sporthalle des Gymnasiums am Neandertal in Alt-Erkrath eingeladen.

Mit Gastschützen aus Düsseldorf, dem Niederrhein und Ruhrgebiet traten fünf Mannschaften aus jeweils drei Schützen zum Mannschaftswettkampf an.

Eine Besonderheit dieses Turniers sind die unterschiedlich großen Zielscheiben.

Neben dem Standardmato von 36 cm Durchmesser hat jede Mannschaft noch ein Ziel mit 30 cm und 24 cm Durchmesser zur Verfügung.

 

Nach fünf Durchgängen sicherte die Mannschaft „Neboshi“ (Thorsten Küper, Marita Paulick, Hannelore Heid-Dauner) sich den 1. Platz.

Gefolgt von „Echo KoDaMa“ (Luise Markefka-Witaschek, Matthias Orschel-Brieden, Daniel Loerwald)

Der dritte Platz musste durch ein Stechen ermittelt werden. Anschließend konnte sich die Mannschaft „Brille“ (Sabrina Brunner, Olaf Koch und Josef Hoffmann) das 3. Treppchen sichern.

 

Im Einzelwettkampf räumte Thorsten Küper auch den 1. Platz ab. Für den zweiten und dritten Platz mussten die Teilnehmer mit 2 Pfeilen im K.O.-System antreten.

Als die Platzierung bei Marita Paulick, Hannelore Heid-Dauner und Josef Hoffmann immer noch nicht feststand, wurde noch ein Enkin durchgeführt.

Bei dieser Methode schießen alle Teilnehmer 1 Pfeil auf nur eine Zielscheibe, wer näher am Mittelpunkt liegt hat von der Gruppe gewonnen.

Dadurch konnte sich Josef Hoffmann durchsetzen und belegte den 2. Platz. Und Marita Paulick belegte den 3. Platz.

Das Rheingold verweilt dieses Jahr im Ruhrpott bis in einem Jahr wieder darum gekämpft wird.
