Last Saturday, June 11, 2016, the German Championships in Kyudo—the traditional Japanese art of archery—took place in Karlsruhe.

Under blue skies, Japan Day took place for the 15th time in the state capital on June 21, 2016.

On May 14, 2016, the Kyudo division of PTSV Aachen invited archers from North Rhine-Westphalia to its own dojo for the state championships.

Koi Taikai May 5, 2016

On May 5, 2016, the Düsseldojo hosted its first Koi Taikai on its outdoor grounds.

On April 30 and May 1, 2016, the Knife Makers’ Fair took place at the German Blade Museum in Solingen.
There was a lot to see, especially knives from all over the world.

2014 German Kyudo Championship

This year's German Kyudo Championship took place in Düsseldorf.
Kyudoka came from all over Germany to compete in an exciting tournament.

On Saturday, May 17, Japan Day took place once again on the banks of the Rhine in Düsseldorf.

The Knife Makers’ Fair will take place on May 2–3, 2015, at the German Blade Museum in Solingen.
There’s plenty to see, especially knives from all over the world.

The International Kyudo Federation hosted the Asia-Oceania Seminar for the third time, followed by an examination.

The association’s annual general meeting took place in early April.

On Saturday, March 22, 2014, the Neandertal Kyudo Club once again hosted its friendly tournament at the gymnasium of the Gymnasium am Neandertal in Alt-Erkrath.

On Saturday, January 25, 2014, the Neandertal Kyudo Club hosted its traditional New Year’s archery event in the gymnasium of the Gymnasium am Neandertal.

At this year's European Kyudo Federation (EKF) seminars and exams in Lilleshall (England) and Montpellier (France), Kieko Petermann-Shibata and Irmgard Bracht passed their first-dan exams.

On Saturday, May 25, Japan Day took place once again on the banks of the Rhine in Düsseldorf.

On January 27, the Kyudoverein Neandertal held its traditional New Year’s archery event.

The Kyudoverein Neandertal e.V. was founded in the fall of 2002 to establish this traditional Japanese martial art in the Düsseldorf region.
