Starting on November 3, November 2026, Tuesday practice will take place in the gym at Gymnasium am Neandertal (Heinrichstraße 12, Alt-Erkrath) at the usual time of 7:00–10:00 p.m..

This marks the end of an era after more than 23 years. The Bavier Elementary School gym is closely tied to the club’s early days. In March 2003, the first—still somewhat tentative—strikes on the makiwara took place here. However, the hall is too short for long-range shooting, so mato training was only possible at a distance of about 20 meters. With four mato set up, there was also very little space for the shooters. The club is therefore very pleased that shooting at full range is now also possible on Tuesday evenings.
